Winter Honeymoons and DW's

In reviewing fares to warm places from the North, I see lots of great fares right now traveling South for winter getaways.

Air right now out of Minneapolis to Cancun on a direct flight in January is only $286/pp and that rate includes the taxes! WOW!, best part about the fares is that they can be reserved without the traveler having to pay for all the air upfront. A simple deposit will hold your air and hotel space.

What about those honeymoons? Any good hotel deals....YES! Resorts in the Caribbean are enticing brides with $350 spa credits, $150 room credits, and room upgrades.

With all that said is it a good time to reserve a winter getaway? NO...it's a GREAT TIME to reserve your getaway. In down economic times, consumers will find the best deals in years on their travel needs.

Our destination wedding program offers the bride and groom a financial reward for each of their wedding guests traveling with them. The reward is paid out in CASH after you return from your wedding. Earn as much as $50 per couple attending your wedding, up to the value of your booking.

Call us for all the details.

Visit us on line of course at www.enchantedgetaways.com . Make sure you check out our resort photos.

Honeymooning in Hawaii...

Air Pricing into Hawaii...great rates available.

What things to consider when Hawaii is your destination?

1. How much time do you have?
2. No passport is needed
3. Weather is fairly constant year round
4. No all-inclusives on the islands
5. Easy island transfers
6. American history destination - Pearl Harbor
7. Easy to drive and rent a car

Time being the most important factor here. It's a long flight, so plan for 2 days of air travel.

Mexico on Sale...The BEST for LESS!

What a wonderful time to be booking your honeymoon or destination wedding.

Mexico is an incredible value right now, both from the air pricing standpoint and the resort pricing side of your honeymoon as well.

So you say, "We want to go someplace different. All our friends go to Mexico. We want to be different."

I agree, be different! Book an oceanfront room with 24 hour room service, and a $200 spa credit, and while you are add it, let's throw in private transfers to and from the resort. You can get all of this in Mexico right now for so much less than the rest of the world!

If you just received our email, "Honeymoon in Mexico - The best for less!", below is information information on each of the resorts mentioned in our email. Remember pictures of all our resorts can be found at

RESORT PHOTO TOUR

I have toured all the resorts mentioned and stayed at many of them. In the process of selecting your honeymoon or destination wedding resort, it's our job to help. It's our job to help you pick the PERFECT RESORT FOR YOU!

Sandos Playacar - Family Friendly, great beach, in the gated Playacar community.
Grand Palladium - Family Friendly, Wonderful waterways throughout the resort. Private honeymoon "cottages". Definitely unique!
El Dorado Royale - Adults Only, This resort is written up in many romance magazines. I think our photos say it all.
El Dorado Seaside - Adults Only, My personal favorite. Why? I love that the resort as lots of beachfront, it's quite, and the beachbeds almost outnumber the guests.
Azul Beach - Family Friendly, My personal favorite when traveling with family. Why? It's big enough to find your own space, but it's small enough to walk from one end to another in 2.5 minutes. The size of the resort guarantees personal service, it's a place where, "everyone knows your name by day #2".
El Dorado Maroma - Adults Only, Upscale, small in size. Attention to detail here is incredible, and it's next door to Maroma Beach so tons to do in the day...but your nights are secluded and catered to!
Excellence - Adults Only, The Excellence Club at this resort means special check in, along with concierge service through out your stay. The spa at Excellence is CRAZY beautiful...a 3 story flowing white fabric entrance to the spa says it all.
Royal Playa Del Carmen - Adults Only,Right in Playa, and adults only. It's easy to navigate, jacuzzies in all the rooms - room service for all rooms, along with beautiful evenings to walk the streets of Playa.
Iberostar Grand - Adults Only, Staying at this resort opens the world of all the Iberostar resorts in the area to you, but I am not sure who would leave the resort! 24 hour room service for all rooms along with a lobby as beautiful as the best resorts in Las Vegas.

Call our office today or email me! If you missed our email, no worries here it is!

Luscious Deal for Sandals Regency St. Lucia

I know we're all a bit weary of hearing about this "new economy" but for those of us looking for some travel bargains, there is an upside! St. Lucia is typically a more expensive honeymoon destination than Jamaica, however I'm finding some great deals for March 2010! The deal I'm posting below, would've been $6,000-$7,000 last year! I'd say if you're looking for a honeymoon deal, this one is luscious.

March 13-20
Sandals Regency St. Lucia
Honeymoon Luxury BEACHFRONT WALKOUT room
RT air on Delta from MSP (one connection each way)
RT Transfers and all taxes
Total for two $4398!!!

If you'd rather have an ocean view room (not beachfront) you can also get a $250 Spa Credit, the choice is yours. (Personally, I'd take the beachfront walk out!)

Viva Love, Viva Las Vegas

For the couple that's short on time, Las Vegas offers a perfect honeymoon getaway. With gourmet dining, award winning shows, fabulous shopping, and luxurious accomodations, there is something for everyone.

Looking for a beach honeymoon? Check out Mandalay Bay's amazing pool area! You could spend every day lounging by the pool and your nights on the town. With their current promotion you will also receive 2 tickets to Cirque du Soleil or the Lion King.

Looking for something hot? Why not get tickets to Cirque du Soleil's sensual show, Zumanity. You can also purchase a Aphrodisiac Dinner for two and for added intimacy purchase Love Seats. I'd suggest the 10:30PM show, so you can go straight to bed afterward; ) Ask us about special discounted shows.

Looking for some cheap thrills? Come on down! For about $25 you get tickets to the Price is Right show, where you have a chance to be a contestant and win prizes!

Looking for adventure? Take a day trip to the Grand Canyon and tour it via Helicopter!

Las Vegas has some great resorts that are off the strip too, give us a call and we'll help you make all the arrangements! Including show tickets, airport transfers, and dinner reservations.

CDC Lifts Travel Restrictions to Mexico (YAY!)

Praise God! In light of the recent health scare in Mexico, the value in the Riviera Maya this summer in fall cannot be beat! AM Resorts (Secrets & Dreams) is currently offering a "Swine Flu" Guarantee! They are so confident that the H1N1 flu was so completely misunderstood, that they are willing to offer guests a guarantee that they will not contract the H1N1 virus. If they do, they will give them THREE FREE VACATIONS! That's worth about $12,000! I'd say that's pretty confident.
Bonnie, owner Enchanted Getaways, just returned from Secrets Maroma this weekend. Needless to say everything was incredible! She says the value of the Riviera Maya right now, is unbelieveable. Prices, are less than they were 10 years ago! That's crazy!
As a professional, I encourage people to take advantage of the value of Mexico right now. Look at the statistics of how many people actually fell ill from the H1N1 virus, compared to how many die from the "regular" flu every year. I'm thinking of booking myself a trip right now.....
